Ipswich Chase Caddis And Ritchie

Swindon Town may now face a struggle to keep two key pieces of their team after Ipswich Town made a bid for Paul Caddis and Matt Ritchie.

Ritchie and Caddis have been a key part fo the team that has lost only once in twenty one games.

Town boss Paolo Di Canio has already told Matt Ritchie he cannot go anywhere until the summer.

Town are very unlikely to accept any bids for either player as they attempt to get back to League One at the first time of asking.

The only way either player is likely to go is if either make a transfer request. Town are unlikely to duplicate the mistake of selling their captain on the cheap after letting Gordon Greer go after the League One playoff final that saw the team implode.

Town had previously turned down a 500,000 bid from Bournemouth for Ritchie.
