Di Canio: Ban Me For Rest Of The Season

Swindon Town manager Paolo Di Canio thanked the FA for banning him as he had a great view of Town's 3-0 win over promotion rivals Crawley Town from the stands.

Speaking after the victory, the Italian said, "All the team made me happy, but I also want to thank the Football Association because they gave me the opportunity to watch the game from the stands,"

"I didn`t have to do homework. Normally when I stay in the dugout I have to watch the game afterwards to have a more clear picture so once again I want to thank the FA. If they want to ban me for the rest of the season they can do that.

"I give them permission to ban me if they want to because my team know what they are doing, so it is fine."
