Di Canio Slams FA After Swindon Town Fined

Swindon Town boss Paolo Di Canio has slammed the FA after his club were fined for failing to control their players.

Town have been fined £1,000 by the Football Association for failing to control their players in the 3-0 win over Crawley on Tuesday night.

The charge relates to players surrounding the referee after Billy Bodin was brought down early in the first half.

Speaking to the press after the charge, Di Canio said "Yesterday we received a charge of £1,000 because after Billy Bodin was fouled after 18 minutes my players went around the referee for one second.

"They deserve a fair play award for the way they behaved. This is a charge against Swindon Town.

"If the referee felt they were too aggressive, he had the power to use the yellow or red card to one of my players, but this did not happen.'

"I thought we had more honest judgement in English football. I changed country because I thought I would find a better situation but here, at the moment, it is worse than Italy.

"I hope the FA will make a fair decision, and the referee as well."

That's so unfair and wrong. if it were United or Chelski that this happened to you can guarantee no action would have been taken!

Always its a case of one rule for us, and one rule for them!
