Swindon To Extend Di Canio's Contract

A great result for Swindon Town yesterday was followed by the greater news that Swindon Town are set to sit down with Paolo Di Canio this week to discuss extending his contract.

Di Canio is currently on a two year contract plus an option but has said previously he wants a five year contract.

Di Canio stated after the 2-0 win over Accrington he is happy at Swindon and wants to stay for many years.

a 5 year deal is a win win for everyone - lets hope the board put in a HUGE compensation clause should he leave before the 5 years is up in order to fund the replacement should that happen.
