Ince Set To Join Swindon?

Rumours have emerged tonight that Paul Ince will officially be unveiled as a Swindon Town player-coach tomorrow.

These rumours have not been confirmed however many internet sites tonight have said that Ince is staying at a hotel in Swindon tonight and that he will sign tomorrow.

More speculation came as Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet were given numbers today. Number 4 however was not taken by either, making it available for Ince.

Ince had been chased by a number of clubs but it appears Ince's friendship with Swindon Manager Dennis Wise may have clinched the deal.

paul ince surely will wait until he can get a managers/top coach post with wise + poyet I cant see where he would fit as a coach

Got to start somewhere. Perhaps he will do his apprenticeship at Swindon, prove himself and possible move on. If he does the business here who's complaining.

I'm not so sure now about it, bit concerned about the size of wage demand, and are we getting carried away the 'hype' of it all.....
