Barnsley's McEveley Set To Join Swindon Town

Barnsley's McEveley Set To Join Swindon Town

Swindon Town set to sign Championship defender James McEveley on a loan deal from Barnsley until the end of the season.

McEveley has featured in 29 games for Barnsley this season.

The full Scottish International has also played for Blackburn Rovers and Derby County before signing a 2 year deal with Barnsley.

McEveley's injury record is not great however he is a powerful player who is not afraid to get stuck in.

This is a massive coup for Swindon Town who are already planning for next season.

With the arrival of Jay McEveley, it would appear to be the end of Callum Kennedy`s time at Swindon Town.
