Swindon Town On Verge Of Promotion

Paolo Di Canio's Swindon Town could be promoted at home next Saturday against Plymouth Argyle if they win and results other places go Swindon Town's way following their 1-0 win over Northampton Town toay.

It has been expected for some time now that Swindon Town will return to League One at the first chance and that could become a reality next Saturday at the County Ground.

Town are now 7 points clear at the top of League Two and are hoping to win their first league title since 1996 when they won the old Division Two (League One) Championship under Steve McMahon.
