Holmes: It Would Be Great To Stay!

Holmes: It Would Be Great To Stay!

On loan midfielder Lee Holmes has re-iterated his desire to remain at Swindon Town following the club promotion to League One.

Speaking to BBC Wiltshire, Holmes said it would be great if he was offered a deal to remain at the County Ground although it was out of his hands.

Holmes is currently enjoying his second loan spell at the County Ground and is out of contract at the end of the season.

With Southampton likely plying their trade in the Premier League next season, Holmes is unlikely to be offered an extended stay at St Mary`s Stadium.

Holmes has put in some impressive performances for the reds since returning to Swindon following a successful loan spell at Oxford United and Town boss Paolo Di Canio may see the tricky winger as a key part of the puzzle as the team strives for back to back promotions.
