'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Di Canio Reveals Reason For Almost Walking Out

Following securing promotion to League One, Town manager Paolo Di Canio revealed he was very close to quitting the club 45 days ago.

Following the revelation many fans started to try and figure out why the much loved Italian would quit the club.

In today`s Paolo Di Canio column in the Swindon Advertiser, Di Canio told reporters, "I need to assure everyone there was no problem with the chairman, no problem with the players, and no problem with Swindon as a town. It was my personal problem that I do not want to tell the public."

This will be seen as great news going into this weekends potential League Two Championship clinching match against Port Vale.
