McEveley Wants To Stay At Swindon
Free agent defender Jay McEveley is keen to sign a permanent deal at Swindon Town following his release from Championship side Barnsley.
McEveley joined Town prior to the Johnstones Paint Trophy final and has claimed the left back position as his own since his arrival.
Speaking to the local press he said, "This has been a great place for six weeks. I`ve got on with the gaffer and the lads and the lads have been brilliant and I`ve taken to the fans as well,"
Prior to McEveley's arrival the left back position had been shared by Callum Kennedy and Alessandro Cibocchi and earlier on Liam Ridehalgh who was on loan from Huddersfield Town.
