Luke McCormick Released From Prison, Joins Swindon

Goalkeeper Luke McCormick who will be on trial at Swindon Town has been released from prison after killing two young boys and severely injuring their father in a car accident 3 years ago.

McCormick will link up with the Town squad and the club have made it clear that he has NOT signed a contract with the League One club after the move was met with fierce opposition from supporters of the club.

It is unknown if McCormick does well if he will in fact be offered a contract but Swindon Town have been clear that currently he is only at the club as part of he rehabilitation and re-integration into the community.
