Swindon Town Transfer List Four Players

Swindon Town Transfer List Four Players

Swindon Town confirm 4 players available for transfer.

Swindon Town have today confirmed that striker Alan Connell, midfielders Jonathan Smith and Lee Cox, and goalkeeper Mattia Lanzano.

Connell and Smith were both key players in Town`s promotion to League One whilst Lanzano failed to settle in England and Cox failed to impress after arriving from Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The transfer listing of Connell will raise some eyebrows after Connell became a firm fan favourite at the County Ground. Whilst he performed well at Grimsby and last season, whilst he may have pace and been a bit of an impact player, we are not convinced Connell has the skill set to remain a key player in League One.

Cox could move back to Inverness, whilst Connell has been linked with a move to Rotherham United and Crawley Town. Over recent days Jonathan Smith has been linked with a move to Preston North End and Exeter City.

Vital Swindon Town wishes all 4 players the best of luck.

Not sure if he would move to Rotherham. Said he left Grimsby to be closer to his family.
