The Red Army Loud & Proud website has been relaunched at its previous location of http://www.redarmyloudnproud.org.uk alongside of the message board for fans to post their thoughts.
The Red Army Loud & Proud (RALP) group started back in the early part of the 2005/06 season things were, not to put to fine a point on it, a bit rubbish at STFC. Relegation looked certain from a very early stage, the increasingly unpopular Andy King had been sacked and fans had all but begun to turn on each other as the feeling of negativity (which had started towards the end of the previous season) spread.
Some fans decided enough was enough and went on an impassioned online crusade, using the old Swindon Advertiser forum, to try and bring a bit of positivity and fun back to the County Ground. The aim was simple, be Loud and be Proud when at the ground, and bring back a bit of colour and fun to the place.
Well the group certainly did this with displays of Red and White at Yeovil, Bristol City, Lincoln and many other fixtures however with Paolo Di Canio`s positivity surrounding the club, the site has re-launched as an archive for Swindon Town fans to post their pictures and memories home and away.
You will still find all the good old bits like information regarding the STFC Ultras, their sponsorship of fan favourite Lee Peacock, who returned to Swindon last season to be part of a charity match as to support Town in the JPT final against Chesterfield last season, the anything goes fans forum, The L&P Lovelies as well as a plethora of Swindon Town fans photos and memories.
If you have anything you wish to add to the site, whether that be photos or an article from your favourite Swindon Town match email admin@redarmyloudnproud.org.uk.
Ofcourse it`s not to say one day RALP will not resurface with the familiar 12th man shirt and a bucket load of streamers and balloons, they are there when they are needed. RALP is not dead, just waiting for the right time to re-surface.
The loan move is currently until January.
