Ince To Sign One Year Deal

Former England Captain Paul Ince will sign a One Year contract with Swindon Town and will be officially unveiled as a Swindon Town Player-Coach Tomorrow.

The Sun, The Times, The Mirror all said the same thing this morning. Paul Ince has signed a one year contract with Swindon Town. Although the reports were a bit pre-mature, the end result will be the same unless Ince has a last minute change of mind.

The deal has been agreed and Paul Ince will be coming to Swindon Town however, there is one catch according to BBC Radio Swindon. The BBC says that Swindon Town will need to get around the 60% of a clubs turnover can be spent on players barrier. Swindon Town are currently at that limit.

Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise will make it official tomorrow after 3 weeks of leaving the Swindon fans guessing.

Ince stated on Sky Sports yesterday that when Wise first approached him with the idea of joining Swindon he laughed saying 'yeah good one', however after he failed to get the Wolverhampton managers job, Ince thought long and hard and has now finally decided to sign with his good friend Wise at Swindon in a player-coach role.

It is unknown whether Ince will play any part in Friday's fixture against Chester City.
