Dennis Wise' Match Reaction

Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise spoke to the media after Town's 2-0 win against Chester City last night at the Saunders Honda Stadium.

'We had some young players out there and they stood up and did what they had to do.

'I said to them at half-time don't let them bully you, and we went out and played the way we can - in the end we deserved to win the match.

'They came at us extremely strongly but we showed strength and dealt with practically everything they threw at us.

'These sort of places are always difficult to come to, but we dealt extremely well with the atmosphere and also their team.'

Wise went on to praise the huge Swindon away following at the conclusion of the interview.

'I must say another massive thank you to our fans who have come a long way and spent a lot of money to get up here. They were superb - making a lot of noise and I would like to thank them on behalf of the players, Gus and myself - I am glad we put a show on for them.'

Wise genuinly appears to be enjoying his time at Swindon always talking to the fans and joining in with chants that fans direct to him, such as 'Wisey, Whats the score'. Fans of Swindon Town will be thanking Wise for bringing entertaining football and the good times back to the County Ground.
