Luke Rooney Heads To Burton

Winger Luke Rooney has joined League Two side Burton Albion on an initial one month loan after falling down the pecking order at the County Ground.

Rooney was a mainstay in the Town lineup after joining from Gillingham last season.

Rooney went on to make 24 appearances last season whilst he has only featured three times this season.

Rooney is currently stuck behind Gary Roberts, Matt Ritchie, Rafa De Vita and Adam Rooney so he has left to get first team football.

A great move for Rooney, never going to get a game with Roberts and Ritchie. Will it be a permanent deal?
