Di Canio Linked With Southampton

Swindon Town boss Paolo Di Canio has been linked with a move to Premier League side Southampton. The owners of The Saints who are Italian are losing patience with Nigel Adkins after his team lost 8 of their 10 Premier League matches since winning promotion from the Championship last season.

Town have dismissed the link as speculation.

Di Canio would no doubt love to have shed loads of money at Southampton to spend and has said previously he is ready to manage in the Premier League although he still has a job to do at Swindon Town.

Di Canio is under contract at Swindon Town until 2015.
