Swindon Town Transfer Embargo Lifted
Swindon Town will be able to boost their squad now following news that the transfer embargo that was placed on the club for spending over 65% of their turnover has been lifted.
Club owner Andrew Black has put more equity into the club meaning the club are now below the 65% threshold.
Town manager Paolo Di Canio has been told he can use funds that were going to be made available in January, now to bolster his squad but he will need to spend wisely as the amount available is not a huge amount.
It`s also been revealed that Town`s budget for this season is £4.5M.
Di Canio has been ranting about the embargo for weeks saying that due to the embargo his players have become complacent knowing they can't be dropped.
