Oliver Risser Has Contact Cancelled

Oliver Risser has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

Risser arrived at the County Ground last season and was promptly named captain by manager Paolo Di Canio. Risser would be stripped of the captaincy by the end of August last year after Paolo realised he just wasn`t that good.

Risser put the effort in and went on to make 32apperances in the League Two championship winning side. Risser would also score 3 cracking goals but that was about it.

The former captain was on loan to League One side Stevenage but has now had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

It is expected he will join League Two side Aldershot Town later in the week.
