Paolo Di Canio & Fans Clearing Pitch

Paolo Di Canio & Fans Clearing Pitch

Swindon Town manager Paolo Di Canio is leading an army of fans to help clear the pitch covers.

Swindon Town have said that the pitch is perfectly playable and the game should go ahead tomorrow as long as the access roads and stands are safe for fans and players.

If fans wish to help with the effort they are requested to report to E1 gate between the Town End and Arkells Stand. Earlier the club had said "Due to the heavy snowfall, the snow clearing effort has now been stopped. The club are now in dialogue with the Football League" but it appears there is a chance the game may now still be on with the club asking for volunteers to head down to the match.
