Benson To Join Cheltenham
Swindon Town striker Paul Benson will complete a loan move to League Two side Cheltenham Town within the next 24 hours it is understood.
Benson was a key part of just seasons League Two championship winning side and was keen to secure a permanent move to Portsmouth where he was on loan until two weeks ago.
Benson turned down a chance of a permanent move to Capital One cup finalists Bradford City hoping to renew talks with Pompey.
Benson originally turned down the chance to join Cheltenham however after watching then in action he has now agreed a move until the end of the season with the League Two outfit paying the vast majority of his wages.
