UNCONFIRMED: Swindon Accept Cherries Ritchie Offer
Neil Perrett of the Daily Echo has reported that there are unconfirmed reports floating about that Swindon Town have accepted a £600,000 bid from AFC Bournemouth for winger Matt Ritchie.
Town had turned down much higher bids for the winger last season from Bournemouth, but a change in ownership at the County Ground today may have decided to accept the bid from Bournemouth and cash in just hours after being owners of the club.
This news if true will be dissapointing to Town fans who were keen to see if the new boards ambition matches the previous boards. By accepting this bid, it would appear not.
Crystal Palace are also known to be keen admirers of the former Portsmouth winger.
