Wise Thrilled With Swindon's Win

Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise has praised his side after their 2-1 win over the MK Dons at the County Ground last night.

Wise's men suffered their first loss of the season at Wrexham on Saturday and he was keen to see how they would react against the MK Dons who like Swindon are tipped for Promotion. 'It was important to see how we reacted and I couldn't have asked for anything more than I got from them.' Wise said

'We deserved to win, created chances and it's another three points. What I don`t want is for them to take their foot off the pedal, I will tell them that. This is what I expect week in and week out.' Wise said.

Speaking on the next challenge, Peterborough, Wise was quick to say he will not accept complacency from his side. 'They just have to keep it going. Peterborough will come here on Saturday and won't make it easy for us.'

Will the 8,000 fans who saw Town defeat Milton Keynes yesterday show up on Saturday? Wise certainly hopes so. 'We're getting there and they`re doing great. We need the punters. Come in, watch and enjoy.' Wise concluded
