Martin Won't Return To Swindon

Swindon Town boss Paolo Di Canio has ruled out bringing back striker Chris Martin following the end of his loan spell at the club.

It was thought that Di Canio was keen to hold on to the striker following his loan a the club but was unable to do so due to the temporary embargo by the Football League that doesn`t allow Town to sign or register players until the owners successful pass the fit and proper persons test.

Speaking at a press conference today prior to our match against Colchester Di Canio indicated he didn`t want to bring Martin back and wouldn`t even if he could register players.

Paolo also revealed he apologised to Marlon Pack, Danny Green and Bradley Wright-Phillips for the confusion on transfer deadline day. Nick Watkins suggested all three deals could possibly be on once the Football League decide to allow Town to sign players.
