Dennis Wise' Match Reaction

Swindon Town Manager Dennis Wise spoke to the official site and gave his reaction to the 1-1 draw with Notts County.

'I am disappointed because I thought we had a goal which wasn't given. Lee Peacock says it went over the line but we had other chances in the game. I didn't think the level of officiating was up to scratch but overall we played well and could have taken the win.

'We made six changes and I was pleased with the way we passed and went about the game. Those players that came in showed me something and Fola got his goal. It was a great finish but that's what he's about. However I thought he marked on the wrong side fot their goal and he has to realise what the small details mean to us. We lost concentration and they scored a goal. That disappointed me but apart from set-plays, Notts County rarely troubled us.

'The goal we scored came through Fola's pace and I have told him he could be a matchwinner for us. The whole team put in a performance and we have to look forward to the game on Tuesday now.

'Jason Lee left a nice elbow on Paul Evans in the middle of the park - an absolute pearler. Royce was also clean through and got taken down but we got nothing. Why would he go down in that position?

'It's annoying but the players responded well and we got a better performance than we showed against Peterborough United,'

Dennis Wise went on to say he would not discuss his future and any speculation linking him to Leeds United. Wise firmly has his mind on Tuesday's match with Wycombe.

He was very professional in what he had to say. He was clearly peeded of but contained it really well. I hope Dennis does not go.

Wisey won't go anywhere............. I hope. He doesn't come across as someone who gives up half way through a job.
