Swindon Duo Set To Depart

Swindon Town players Darren Ward and Luke Rooney are close to securing moves to other clubs.

Ward is set to join Alan McCormack at Brentford after holding discussions recently and should arrive at the club on a free transfer.

Another player also heading out will be winger Luke Rooney who spent last season out on loan to Burton Albion and Rotherham United.

Rooney had been attracting the interest of several clubs including Plymouth, Cheltenham and Crawley recently.

Rooney is expected to seal a switch to Crawley Town whilst Town have began discussions with former Watford man John Eustace about a potential switch to the County Ground.
