'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Trust STFC Press Release - 2nd July 2013

Trust STFC are launching a new website that aims to improve communications with fans, and to underline the key objectives of the Supporters' trust. Trust chairman Steve Mytton states 'Since taking over as Chairman of the Trust, I've been keen to improve the member experience. I was aware that people were joining the trust and then nothing much was happening. We're hoping this website changes that, and is the start of something much more interactive.'

The website also outlines the SAFE objectives of the Trust. SAFE stands for Strengthening the bonds between the club and the fan community, making the club more Accountable to fans, working towards Fan representation on the board, and putting together Emergency plans in case things go wrong in the future. On this Steve commented 'Many people had mixed views on what the Trust is all about, to clarify this we've put our entire business plan and key objectives on the new website'

The Trust aim to keep the site popular by adding fresh content, and on this they have appealed for contributors. 'We want our members to get more involved with trust activities and help us achieve our objectives. We'd welcome any ideas and thoughts and of course we want more people to join up'

Also on the site is details of the Business Plan evening ticketing arrangements for Trust STFC members.
