Cooper: It's Not About Me
Swindon Town caretaker boss Mark Cooper couldn't care less that he will be returning to Peterborough United on the weekend.
Cooper who was sacked by The Posh just 13 games into a three year contract in 2009, will lead Town out against one of the League One favourites on Saturday.
Speaking to The Peterborough Telegraph, Cooper explained his situation, "I had built a decent reputation as a young manager and there were a lot of clubs who had made it known they were interested in me.
"For one reason or another I ended up at Peterborough. It was probably the wrong club for me at that time. But they`ve gone their way and I`ve gone mine.
Cooper went on to say that his daughter had said he was to get revenge on Peterborough for sacking him but said he was only interested in winning the match.
It will be a big ask for Cooper with an inexperienced side that has had mixed results during pre-season.
