Steve Murrall has resigned from the board of directors at Swindon Town and from his role as General Manager of the club.

Town have released a statement which reads, 'Swindon Town Football Club would like to announce that Steve Murrall has left his position as General Manager and has also resigned from the Board of Directors as of 31st October, 2013.

'During his time at the Club, Steve has overseen a smooth operational transition and has helped to identify new revenue streams which will ensure a stable and sustainable business model.

'He will now have time to focus on the STFC MyWorld Project and the Club would like to wish Steve every success with this.

'The Board would like to thank Steve for his hard work over the last nine months, ensuring that the transition between the previous owners and the current owners was as smooth as possible.'
