Swindon Town Ownership: Sort It Out NOW!

So The weekend has passed and what else do we know regarding the ownership situation at Swindon Town. Absolutely nothing.

The much anticipated board meeting that was scheduled for 12pm Saturday disappeared as quickly as the statement from the official club site stating that Lee Power owns STFC.

It was expected we would finally find out what the hell is going on but instead more questions than answers remain although reports out of the club state that Jed McCrory currently owns the club.

So will this week yield answers? Doubtful! Jed is currently seeking legal advice on the situation and apparently has done a U Turn on selling up to Power following re-tweets of the failed takeover at Luton Town and his company Cre8 going to the wall a few years ago leaving many top teams millions of pounds out of pocket.

Jed has earned the trust of the supporters and fans are keen that things continue as they are with Jed in charge.

It is believed however that Lee Power has been instrumental in the link up with Tottenham Hotspur which has seen several Spurs reserve players join Town including Massimo Luongo, Jack Barthram, Nathan Byrne, Alex Pritchard, Ryan Mason and Grant Hall.

Just as it seemed things were going fine on the pitch, another storm of blame games and accusations threatens to divide the STFC Fan Base taking us back to the days of Bob Holt and Mike Diamandis which put the clubs very existence at risk.

Whatever the outcome, the ownership situation has to be sorted as soon as possible and a clear path forward must be communicated to fans to clear up any confusion surrounding the future of the club.
