Leeds To Name Wise Manager?

Leeds United are set to name Dennis Wise manager of Leeds United with Gus Poyet as his assistant following a press release on Leeds` Official Website.

It is well known that Leeds chairman Ken Bates and Dennis Wise have been very good friends ever since their days together at Chelsea.

Bates is also godfather to one of Wise's Children.

Statement By Leeds United

Leeds United can confirm their interest in bringing Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet to Elland Road.

Discussions with the pair have taken place with the consent of Swindon Town.

The clubs are discussing the terms of their release.

No further comment will be made at this stage.

No we need a decent manager if Wise goes.

I really didn't think Wise would do that. I thought seeing he is always talking about professionalism he would at least see out the job until the end of the season. It seems like another manager has taken us all for mugs.

Money talks and lets face it this hasn't run too smoothly behind the scenes with the Ince fiasco etc.. but Wisey has turned us round and got the players motivated.
