Ince Named Macclesfield Manager

Ince Named Macclesfield Manager

Former Swindon Town midfielder Paul Ince has been named manager of rock bottom Macclesfield Town.

Ince joined Swindon after leaving Wolverhampton in the summer after failing to land the managers job.

Ince came to Swindon Town as a favour to Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise who is good friends with the Guv'nor. Ince played three games before deciding the travel was too much for him.

Ince has accepted the huge job of keeping Macclesfield Town in the Football League. The League 2 strugglers currently sit on 5 points and are falling behind everyone in the race for League 2 survival.

Ince has signed an initial 15 month deal at Macclesfield with rolling 6 month extentions to be negotiated between the club and manager.

Ince will be player/manager for Macclesfield however he will not be able to play for Macclesfield until January as he signed for Swindon Town after the transfer window and therefore is only eligible to play for Swindon until January.
