Swindon Sacrificing League For Wembley?

Are Swindon Town Sacrificing League success for a day out at Wembley?

Judging by Mark Coopers post match interview, YES.

The league is your bread and butter but Cooper openly admitted to resting certain players like Darren Ward who has been rubbish as late as well as taking off Massimo Luongo stating that he was resting them for Wednesday's JPT Area final first leg.

The rewards for advancing to Wembley are clear. Owner Lee Power doesn't have a lot of money as Cooper has openly admitted so a day out at the national stadium will swell the coffers.

Is it right though? There has been a debate against fielding weakened teams in matches in the past. Whilst we may start with a full strength team, potential playoff berth and promotion will bring bigger riches than a one off at Wembley, a stadium we never win at anyway.

Perhaps Swindon Town have given up on promotion?

So we ask you on our poll, should Swindon Town rest players at the expense of our league standing to get a day out at Wembley?
