Tuttle Could Follow Wise

Dave Tuttle has admitted his reign as Caretaker could be a short one and could follow Wise and Poyet to Leeds United.

Tuttle has indicated that the club knew that Wise was not going to stay and had already made his mind up as Tuttle revealed the club had approached him about taking over the manager's role at the County Ground temporarily.

Speaking after a busy day at Swindon Town Tuttle said, 'The club have spoken to me about taking charge temporarily but nothing has been agreed long-term just yet.'

The role does seem to be a temporary as Swindon Town will hopefully look for another high profile manager to take over the role and get the club back into League One. 'It seems as though I will be helping out short term but there are others who can help out as well, while the club looks for something more permanent.'

Tuttle became the youngest manager in the Championship when he took charge of Millwall in December 2005. Tuttle left after Millwall failed to clinch Championship survival and were relegated to League One.

Tuttle did however say that his stay at the County Ground may not last much longer until he has seen what his friend Dennis Wise wants to do. Wise brought Tuttle to the County Ground and could look to be re-united at Leeds United.

'I am still waiting to hear from Dennis and Gus because I have worked very closely with Dennis and I don't want to comment much Until I know what they want' Tuttle concluded.
