Swindon Town Beat Port Vale Away 3-2

Swindon Town fought back from a 2-0 deficit on Saturday to secure a much needed morale boosting victory away from home.

Doug Loft and the ever dangerous Tom Pope put Vale up 2-0 at the break and as a Town fan you figured it was going to be, "one of those days".

However something remarkable happened. Town came out of half time, all guns blazing.

Just 6 minutes after the break, Nile Ranger cleverly slotted home to score his first away goal of the season.

14 minutes later, Alex Pritchard scored a cracking free kick to take the game level and send the travelling support into ecstasy.

4 minutes later Nathan Byrne slotted home a sloppy goal to make it 3-2 to Town which is how the game remained.

Town were good value for their victory with Michael Smith and Nile Ranger both hitting the crossbar.
