Jury Sent Out In Nile Ranger Case
Swindon Town striker Nile Ranger will find out shortly the result of his ongoing case for alleged rape.
For seven days witnesses as well as Nile Ranger himself have given evidence with a woman claiming she was raped on a night out by Ranger when he played for Newcastle United.
Both sides have given evidence and now it is up to the jury to decide whether Ranger is guilty or not guilty after the judge sent them out to decide a verdict in the case.
On a football note, Ranger is out for the season with a hamstring tear.
Should Ranger be found guilty of the offence it is believed that Swindon Town have a clause which would terminate the strikers contract with immediate effect.
