Join Trust STFC For A Quid

In a bid to substantially broaden its support, TrustSTFC has dropped the price of annual membership to just £1 for a promotional period after existing members voted overwhelmingly in support of the move. The promotion is to run until the end of the year.

Trust volunteers will be outside the County Ground ahead of this Saturdays match with Lincoln City signing up as many new members as possible, and also handing out leaflets giving more information on the recently announced Fans Consortium.

Trust spokesman Andy Ratcliffe said : 'We recognise that supporting Swindon Town can be an expensive business and the £10 membership fee may be a barrier to some. We want to make it as easy as possible for fans to join and we are grateful to our existing members for backing this initiative.'

'Having more members gains us more credibility and makes the Trust harder to ignore. This is a vital time for the club and it is more important than ever to have a strong and united voice to speak on behalf of the fans.' added Ratcliffe.
