STFC: Get Behind Your Team

Swindon Town's acting chief excective Martyn Starnes has urged the Swindon Town fans to get behind the team this Saturday against Lincoln City.

'The response from the vast majority of fans has been fantastic and we have been inundated with messages of support.

'There is a real sense of solidarity and determination around the ground at the moment.

'Saturday`s game is a six-pointer and we urge the crowd to get behind Ady Williams and the boys, from kick off to the final whistle.

'Lincoln City are flying high at the moment but we are confident that, with the fans` vocal support, the lads can dig deep and finish with three points come 4.45pm.'

Can't help feeling a bit deflated though - but hope we ignore all the who ha of last week, I'm sure the crowd will be good, just hope the players respond.

I am not deflated lets hope we dont go down 1-0 early and the town end turn on the players like the normally do.

still feel that because of the importance of trying to get out of this league now is not the time to appoint someone who is inexperienced and wants to learn the job, we need a more experienced manager in place and soon. No offence to Adi.
