'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Swindon Fans Chose Paul Sturrock

Paul Sturrock should be the next Swindon Town manager as voted for by Vital Swindon Town visitors.

Paul Sturrock - Got 54% of the entire vote. The former Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle manager has experience in the lower leagues on a tight budget.

Lou Macari - Surprisingly not many people want to 'skip to their Lou'. One of the most popular managers in the clubs history and one of the most successful is not wanted by fans to return to the club where he had his greatest success. Macari only got 13% of the vote. Older fans who remember the 'glory years' would have a difference of opinion no doubt.

Alex Inglthorpe - The former Exeter manager currently holds a job at Tottenham Hotspur and likely would not return to football management unless he got a very good offer. 4% Voted for him.

Dave Tuttle - The former Millwall man turned down the caretaker role and this must be a good thing. The fans don't want him as manager with a meagre 5% giving Tuttle their vote.

Iffy Onuora - Fans do not want to sing I I Iffy anymore after Onuora managed the club to relegation from League 1 last season. Iffy got 8% of the vote. Many fans like Iffy as a person but would not want him back as manager.

Other - 16% voted for other. Most of these coming after Luc Nijholt's name was thrown into the hat.

There you have it. If Swindon Town fans get their way, Paul Sturrock will be leading us to promotion for the remainder of the season.

Probably between Luc N and Paul S then, but knowing Swindon there is a surprise along the way.....

What about Luc Nijolt - he was a no nonsense player - and has proved he can manage as well.
APG_STFC
i would personally prefer a manager who has not had any connections with the club, only my opinion.
