COOPER: Scunthorpe Reaction

COOPER: Scunthorpe Reaction

Swindon Town manager Mark Cooper gave his thoughts on Town's opening day 3-1 win over Scunthorpe United.

Speaking to swindontownfc.co.uk Cooper said, 'I thought we were really good, we came out of the blocks and started really well. It was wave after wave of attacks and we managed to get two goals up; two good goals. We let Scunthorpe back into it which has been our worry: a bit of naivety and we're trying to guard against it. There is lots of work to do defensively, we know that. They are young lads who have not played together as a back three. We hoped we had enough firepower to see it off.'
