Swindon Confirm Sturrock Appointment

Swindon Town Football Club have Confirmed Sturrock Appointment. The Press Conference to unveil Sturrock will be at 2pm this afternoon at the County Ground.

Statement From Swindon Town FC

SWINDON Town FC will this afternoon officially confirm Paul Sturrock as the club's new manager.

Sturrock brings Kevin Summerfield to The County Ground as Assistant Manager and John Blackley as defensive coach.

Former Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield Wednesday manager Sturrock will be unveiled to the media this afternoon.

I am feeling quite excited about saturdays match now, will be interesting to see how we do under sturrock.

I wouldn't get too excited if I were you - you'll probably find the players will be out to impress... which hopefully means we get a win. Or if he changes the style of play, players may struggle out of position (rem. England)
