Statement from Vital Swindon Town regarding the news of a new consortium wanting to speak to the club in regards to a takeover.

Statement From Vital Swindon Town

As per Vital Swindon Town`s policy (Not Vital Football as a network`s policy), we politely request that the media do not contact us in regards to the fans consortium or in regards to any possible takeover at Swindon Town Football Club.

We have deliberately not reported anything about this takeover as it is too early to make any statement in regards to this.

We are not in a position to comment either way and do not have the facts.

We choose to work peacefully with the current staff of Swindon Town Football Club, who have always been friendly and accommodating to myself and this site and will do whatever we can to help the football club through its current cash problems.

If you do have any questions in regards to any takeover, we suggest you contact Swindon Town Football Club or the parties involved directly.

We are more than happy to discuss the forthcoming FA Cup second round clash with Morecambe on the weekend or any story not related to this, unless otherwise stated.

LOL, We aren't out to stir things out, hence why we won't talk to the media about these type of things!
