Third Round Proper Draw

Sunday 3 December 2006

The draw for the Third Round of The FA Cup, sponsored by E.ON, will be made on Sunday 3 December at Soho Square at around 3.15pm.

The balls will be drawn shortly after the live Second Round televised game between Salisbury City and Nottingham Forest on BBC1.

The draw will be made by two current boxing heroes - Ricky Hatton, a world champion at two different weights, and Olympic silver medalist Amir Khan, with Sir Trevor Brooking, The FA Director of Football Development, conducting proceedings. Hatton is a Manchester City fan while Khan supports Bolton Wanderers.

There are 64 numbered balls providing 32 ties with the Premiership and Championship clubs numbered in alphabetical order, with Arsenal as number one and Wolverhampton Wanderers as number 44.
