Swindon Give Blair Sturrock Trial

Swindon Town have announced that Blair Sturrock will play for the club's reserve team Saturday afternoon against Salisbury City.

Sturrock is the son of Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock and has had spells at Plymouth Argyle, Kidderminster Harriers and Rochdale.

Sturrock scored 6 goals in 15 games for League 2 side Rochdale last season before suffering an injury and missing most of the closing games of the season.

Town will field a young side against including Ben Wells, Lee Henry and David Stroud.

The teams drew 1-1 at the County Ground 2 weeks ago.
