Another Sturrock Joins Swindon

Striker Blair Sturrock looks as if he has signed for Swindon Town after being on the bench against Walsall today.

Sturrock who has played at Rochdale, Kidderminster and Plymouth Argyle during his career was on the bench for Town who were short on strikers thanks to injuries to Lee Peacock and Royce Brownlie.

Sturrock made his Swindon Town debut last week against Salisbury City in the Wilshire Shield where he scored one goal within the first few minutes of the match.

Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock had stated earlier in the week his Son Blair was only about 60% fit but may have to use him due to a shortage of strikers

Sturrock has been given number 22 which was used by Andy Lonergan and Gus Poyet this season.
