Alan Reeves Joins Brentford

Former Swindon Town player and assistant manager Alan Reeves has joined League One strugglers Brentford as assistant manager to Scott Fitzgerald.

Speaking to Brentford's official website Reeves said, 'How did we get to know each other? Well we'd first got to know each other when we were team mates at Wimbledon in the Premiership during the mid 1990s. We kept in touch over the years when I was at Swindon Town where I had been Assistant Manager under both Andy King and Iffy Onoura.'

Reeves left Swindon Town in the summer with former manager Iffy Onuora after being at the club since 1998. Reeves and Onuora made way for Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet who have since moved to Leeds United.
