Onibuje Departs Swindon Town

Striker Fola Onibuje who recently signed a loan deal with League 2 promotion rivals Wycombe Wanderers will make the move permanent on the 8th of January.

The pacy striker joined Town in the summer from Cambridge United on a short term deal under Dennis Wise was awarded with a contract until the end of the season after a few impressive games for Swindon.

Fola became a fan favourite during his short stay at the County Ground and scored 2 goals in 16 appearances for The Robins.

When Paul Sturrock took over the managers role following the departure of Dennis Wise to Leeds, One of Sturrock's first moves was to off-load Onibuje to League 1 side Brentford.
