Board Give Sturrock Transfer Funds
Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock has revealed that the board will allow him to use the fee from the Andy Monkhouse transfer to spend on new players.
Speaking to the official Swindon Town website Sturrock said, 'I have been told by the Board that I can use the money from the Monkhouse deal to spend on another player. I have ideas as to who I would like to bring in.'
Sturrock revealed that he feels the Luke Rodgers deal is a dead deal and that he has other targets in mind. "Luke Rodgers was set a deadline and that has now passed without action. I haven't heard from him or his agent and it seems as though it is a dead deal. The search has been on for somebody else now" Sturrock said,
'Player 'B' is more exciting in the long run and he has a great pedigree.' Sturrock finished.
