Willie Carson

Willie Carson (16 November 1942) is Scottish and a former jockey. He was born in Stirling. He was British Champion Jockey five times (1972, 1973, 1978, 1980 and 1983), won seventeen UK classic races, had 23 centuries and a total of 3,828 wins in the UK, making him the fourth most successful jockey

Carson is now a co-presenter and on the BBC horse racing along with Clare Balding.

He is currently the Chairman of Swindon Town FC.

Just in case any town fans forget who he is?? What does he do at the club apart from take a salary - drain on the coffers. He should get on his "horse" (lol) and ride it out of town - (If he is ever in town!!!)
