Branco In Team Of The Week (4/4/17)

Swindon Town are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Raphael Rossi Branco in the one nil victory over Fleetwood Town at the weekend at Highbury Stadium was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Branco was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Swindon Town picked up a second successive 1-0 win, with Nicky Ajose`s late goal boosting their survival chances. There was plenty of work to do at the other end though, with Branco the stand-out figure as hosts Fleetwood Town failed to find a way through.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Branco for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Christian Walton (Southend United), Danny Batth (Wolverhampton Wanderers), John Mousinho (Burton Albion), Raphael Rossi Branco (Swindon Town), Billy Bodin (Bristol Rovers), Harry Pell (Cheltenham Town), Luke Berry (Cambridge United), Chris Eagles (Port Vale), Jonathan Kodjia (Aston Villa), Shola Ameobi (Notts County), John Marquis (Doncaster Rovers).

Manager - John Coleman (Accrington Stanley).
